The late star’s former house in Kingston has now been converted into the Bob Marley Museum. His bedroom and recording studio are preserved as they were used by the singer in his lifetime. Another landmark worthy of visiting in Jamaica would be the famed Devon House in St. Andrew, the former residence of Jamaica’s first black millionaire: George Stiebel. Stiebel worked throughout his life in Venezuela and returned to live in Devon House in Jamaica, which has now become a National Heritage Site.  Built during the 19^th century, this mansion will give you a glimpse into how the elite lived back then. In fact, it retains its original furnishings and architecture, making it a must-visit destination for architectural and history buffs. This is one location that must be on the bucket list of any tourist visiting Jamaica. Indeed, both of these historic landmarks collectively preserve the very essence of Jamaica.
