Q: What currency is quoted on the website?
A: Rates are quoted in US dollars.
Q: Is a deposit require a deposit?
A: Yes. You are required to pay at least a deposit of 40% to confirm the reservation. (Please contact us for details).
Q: How do I know when my reservation is confirmed?
A: A confirmation will be sent to you via email within 24 hours of you submitting a request and instantly when you book online. If you did not receive a confirmation please contact us.
Q: What payment methods can be used ?
A: We accept all major credit cards via PayPal, Wire Transfers, and Cash. If you choose to make this payment by credit card, debit card, or online it attracts a 7% booking and service fee while if paying by cash there is no additional charge.
Q: Do you offer group discounts?
A: Yes. We offer a great group discount for various group sizes on all services including airport shuttles up and tour transportation. Our vehicles can accommodate up to 52 passengers. Please email us with the number of persons in your group, travel date, pick-up location, destination, or the tour excursions you are interested in.
Q: Is tipping allowed?
A: Tipping is at the customer’s discretion and is not included in our transfers and tour cost.
Q: Do you provide tours and ground transportation for guests staying at a hotel?
A: Yes. Tours and transportation are offered to the hotel, villa, resort guests to any location in Jamaica.
Q: Are the entrance fees included in the prices quoted for tours?
A: Prices quoted are for private transportation only and do not cover entry fees to any of the locations mentioned.
Q: Can we book an attraction with admission fee included?
A: Yes. All you need is to contact us with this request.
Q: How far in advance should we book a tour?
A: It is recommended that you book your tours as soon as possible as popular tours sell out fast.
Q: Can my reservation be amended?
A: Yes. All you need to do to have your reservation changed is to contact us in advance.
Q: Can I book a child seat on to my booking?
Q: Can passengers be picked up at the cruise ship terminal?
A: Yes. We operate from all major cruise ship terminals in Jamaica. Montego Bay, Falmouth, Ocho Rios & Port Antonio
Q: Does the tour start at a specific time for cruise ship passengers?
A: It is recommended that customers disembark the cruise ship between 15 to 30 minutes after the cruise ship’s arrival.
Q: If you are late getting off the ship, what happens?
A: All you’ll have to do is to inform one of the pier attendants that you’re booked with Jamaica Get Away Travels, and they will in turn contact us.
Q: Is there any cancellation policy?
A: Yes. A cancellation fee as follows will be applicable to transportation and our tour bookings.
Cancellation 72 hours before or more: entitle to refund less applicable administrative fees
Cancellation 48 hours before: 20% cancellation fee applicable
Cancellation 24hours or less: 100% cancellation fee applicable and No show booking 100% fee is applicable.
Cancellation made within 24 hours of original booking attracts a 15% cancellation fee applies. Any cancellation by you must be acknowledged by Jamaica Get Away Travels. We do not accept verbal cancellation unless approved by Jamaica Get Away Travels therefore please email your cancellation request to email@example.com
Q: Are prices locked in?
A: Price quotations are subject to change without notice.
Q: How do I get meeting information for arrival?
A: Meeting Instructions, along with other important information will be sent with your email confirmation/voucher within 24 hours.
Q: How do I get meeting information for return pick up from hotel/resort?
A: Your agent will be at the front of your hotel/resort, 15 minutes prior to the pick-up time specified on the confirmation voucher.
Q: How do I book a reservation with less than 24 hours notice?
A: For such reservations please contact us for assistance.
Q: Are you responsible for my personal effects?
A: No. Jamaica Get Away Travels is not liable for the loss of personal effects; damaged or stolen personal effects while on our services.
Q: What happens if incorrect information is given to Jamaica Get Away Travels?
A: Jamaica Get Away Travels is not responsible for incorrect information given such as dates flight info, e-mail address, or any information submitted by you. We will however try our best to assist you.
