In the tourist parts, you find people engaged in the regular activities of souvenir shops and little boutiques. But once the sun is done, Mobay (as the locals like to call the town) is transformed.

 

It comes alive with night lights and reggae beats. “Hip Strip” is the most famous of all party zones, it’s reputed to be the best place to party in Montego Bay. The entertainment opportunities on Hip Strip are limitless, and it is the perfect place for club hopping as most of the venues are within trekable distances. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is a favorite spot for tourists and locals. This tourist hotspot (by day) turns to “Club Ville”, the hottest nightclub venue on the northern coast.

 

There’s also ‘Pier 1’, another smoking hot party spot with an open air design and real pier that stretches into but hovers over the sea. ‘Rum Jungle’ is one of the most impressive spots on the Hip Strip, popular for its theatricality, exotic food and it collection of over 100 different rums.

 

To discover true novelty, be sure to visit ‘Chillin’, a game centre with artificial winter and an ice bar. Prefer lighter fun? Head up to the Jazzy Blue Beat Jazz and Blues Martini Bar. All these are only to name a few. The wonder and awe experienced in Montego Bay at night is amazing, you never run out of things to do.
