Explore the fascinating legend that surrounds Rose Hall Great House known for its horror stories about the infamous Annie Palmer. This mysterious tails has taunted he minds of local and visitors alike for generations since the 17th century. Annie Palmer called the “White Witch” because of her countless lovers and allegedly poisoned her three husbands. A vengeful slave supposedly smothered her with a pillow in her bed in the 1830’s and there are those who still claim to see Annee passing through the Great House.To conclude this fascinating adventure, you can visit the dungeon,now transformed into a tavern called Annee’s Pub. Many visitors find that the famous rum cocktail, known as “Witches Brew” helps banish the spirits of ghosts or black magic they sense still lingering in the mansion.This is a must for those looking for a night adventure in Montego Bay.
Then take a boat tour on the Luminous Lagoon and see the harmless microscopic organisms that give the water it’s nacreous blue green look. The water luminescence is triggered by dinoflagellates, oceanic plankton which is able to generate an emerald green and ultramarine illumination when water is physically disturbed. So, if you’re feeling adventurous, take a swim in the glowing water, one of only a few like it in the world! Don’t worry the lagoon’s eerie looking water is actually completely harmless. All tours can be reserved with us from your hotel/villa or any cruise ship pier in Jamaica. Minimum three persons per tour.
